What videogames do you all like?

I myself enjoy old-school FPSes from the 90s. And I've also played Civilization V, which came out last year, I believe. It's quite good.

FPS for sure (can't wait for Halo 4!), and the Assassins Creed series (can't get enough of it!), as well as Elderscrolls V:Skyrim.

I like Paradox games Crusader Kings and Victoria series mainly, Crusader Kings 2 was pretty cool as they added new features like a family tree so you can easily see different branches of your royal house. On Xbox I like FIFA, Assassins Creed, FPS like Call of Duty and RPG's like the Fable series and Elder Scrolls

What total war games do you play Spongie? I completely love those games, and was just planning to play "Rome: total war: Barbarian Invasion" this evening and play as the Sassanid Persians to conquer the Eastern Roman Empire. But I also like most of the other ones (Medieval 2 total war, Empire total war, Napoleon total war).

Especially Empire total war is nice because you can play as the United Provinces and start as a republic, but then I always turn my country in a constitutional monarchy.

I play every total war game except Medieval I and the Shogun series. I mostly play Medieval 2 Becuase I like how the Papal States are the SPQR of Medieval 2. I also play the Rome total war a lot Becuase it's more detailed also all the best mods/ DLCs are on Rome. I also play Empire and Napoleon but I prefer the hand to hand combat like Rome or Medieval 2 then the guns.

Nice, you are just like me then! I also don't play the Shogun series because European history interests me much more than Japan. And the papal states are indeed very interesting, like the Papal elections where you can bribe other Cardinals to vote for you.

But can you tell me some specific countries you enjoyed most? The hardest thing about the total war series for me is that you have SO many nations to choose from. Like in Medieval 2 where you can pick 17 nations and still have four expansions packs to play aside from that!

In Rome Total war I most play as Roman factions(Julii etc) or Egypt. In Medieval II I play only Christian countries like Spain or England Becuase I too enjoy the papal elections but in the 3 dlcs I play like whatever faction I feel like playing like Aztecs,England and Jerusalem. But Empire and Napoleon I only play as European countries but I prefer Spain. I can't till Rome Total 2 comes out though.

CKII is pretty good, with a few mods. It oversimplifies and anachronizes some things (such as the modern-era neat baron-count-duke-king hierarchy) but it gets the atmosphere down pretty well, this coming from a Medieval history major.
