Linehan was actually contacted by the police at one point:

Modern Britain has gone insane. It wasn't that long ago that one county police service was suggesting that people might like to investigate their own burglaries, yet we have funding for this crap. And it's hardly an isolated case. I would suggest he tell the officers where to get off.

I think that belongs in the thread on Sanders, Trump, etc, although I suppose it does show how mad the left are. I congratulate the true winner today, Donald J. Trump.

The left isn't mad, because it supports Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders supports Scandinavian-style social democracy, not Communism. The USA lacking universal health care is a disgrace, because the USA is a very wealthy country. Even Britain, which is a stronghold of neoliberalism, provides universal health care. Many Americans die, because they can't afford health care.

I ask again, what evidence is there Bernie has fundamentally changed his long term radical views?

Also, again, the question is not in the abstract whether social democracy is acceptable - even if it is outside the American historical consensus - but whether Bernie's actual plans are sensible, in their specifics and details. They're obviously not, so far as they have any details at all. He just declares that he will spend like a drunken sailor. His plans will cost trillions a year. He also plans to ban private healthcare, I believe, which would massively overturn the current system. It's highly likely he winning the nomination all but guarantees Trump's re-election.

Also, the outcomes of the American healthcare system are controversial. There is some evidence it has better outcomes than other developed nations, in terms of life expectancy, once you remove homicides , suicides, and car accidents. It is also isn't entirely true there is no universal healthcare in the US. You can get state funded care if you are poor. What America needs is not Sanders dreams and copying what, I assume, are the somewhat lavish systems in Scandinavia or even the NHS. Australia, to my mind, could serve as a better model, where there's an attempt to combine private and public systems: a government funded medicare is available for most areas of care, but those who can afford it are encouraged to have some health insurance through a tax levy to be paid as a kind of penalty for the uninsured (who are over 31 and earn a certain amount a year).

Yes it doesn't fit with the main topics of this thread with Antifa, SPLC, etc.

That said, there is a relevance here. It's obvious that left-liberals' alliance with radical Leftists and Islamists is something that cannot hold for much longer. Some theorise that a division in the Democratic Party between liberals and socialists is forming, and a British-style three-party system is a possibility. Clinton and Obama look almost conservative compared to the now mainstream Democrat figures.
