Here's a section that will be of interest to those who are interested in native monarchies in the Americas. It is about the Incas, which had a huge empire that stretched from what is now Colombia to what is now Chile.

The most famous Inca ruler was Atahualpa, who was captured by the Spanish & put to death.

Here's a couple of links; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atahualpa & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inca_Empire .

Of course, Royalist0007 fails to mention that the Inca practised human sacrifice, but you will find it referenced in the second link! And I'm surprised he didn't add the word "Catholics" after the word "Spanish". It would still be within the moderator's new rule, I believe.

Jovan,a lot of cultures practiced human sacrifice.I was trying to post a sensible discussion without anyone trying to put a sectarian angle on it for a change.

You have the face of a dead man...

But you can't terrify us with your mask,

because it is only a mask.

When you take it off we shall see you as you really are.

When you drop your mask then we shall know you.

-The Incan Waman Pona's Chronicle writen c.1585-1613

The Incans had a sophisticated culture, unfortunatly I believe the Spanish killed the last Heir in the 1600s because of a Rebellion.

I remeber playing Amazon Rainforest 3rd Edition as a child. You had to give the Heir a golden statue so that you could learn where Vilcabama is.

I got a book all about Conquistadors and the Aztecs and Incas.
