On Feb. 1 of this year (2019), Luis Alfonso, Duke of Borbon and of Anjou, and his wife Maria, became the parents of a third son, whom they've named Henri, and who's been given the title of Duke of Touraine. I believe that he was born in New York.  Henri's two older twin brothers, Louis and Alphonse, were awarded the titles of Duke of Burgundy and Duke of Berry. Their sister is Princess Eugenie. Luis Alfonso is the senior agnatic genealogical representative of the Capetian Dynasty and of the House of Bourbon. He's also a maternal great-grandson of General Francisco Franco.

The Duke of Edinburgh celebrates his 99th birthday today. Seen below with Her Majesty the Queen in a recent photograph taken at Windsor Castle, I wish His Royal Highness a very happy day.

Today is the 38th birthday of the Duke of Cambridge. I am sure we will all wish His Royal Highness very many happy returns. The picture below, from the Mail, was taken by the Duchess on Friday. It shows the Duke with their three children, serving to mark Father's Day, which in Britain falls today, as well as the anniversary. It is notable how Prince Louis looks like a younger clone of Prince George!

Kate, a keen and talented photographer, took these delightful pictures on Friday in the grounds of their Norfolk country home, Anmer Hall

Two photos have now been released from the ceremony. The one below shows the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh outside the Royal Lodge chapel with their granddaughter and her new husband.

It is a striking sign of how close the Princess is with her grandmother that she wore a vintage Hartnell dress that belonged to the queen, and also the same Tiara that the queen wore to her own wedding.  Very sweet gesture.

Prince George's seventh birthday is marked as usual by the release of photos taken by his mother the Duchess of Cambridge, one of the two appearing below. As ever, I wish His Royal Highness a happy day and very many more of them.
