As traditional Catholics our allies are few and our opponents are many.  Too few still zealously believe in the social reign of Christ the King as it was preserved in Christendom.

We know our goals are long term, but along with the Fatima Consecration, the restoration (some call it the counter revolution) will be closer to becoming reality.

Oh yes, there are winners.  The winners just arent Catholic.

Hm. It's more of the first one, actually. I've always wanted to see a royalist revolution occur in the United States, but I know it won't happen-at least, any time soon.

If it were royalists, then the term "revolution" wouldn't be correct would it?  Counter revolution or restoration would fit better.

Revolution implies something new usually.

That would depend on whose House was 'restored'.....

Today is the 237 anniversary of the so called “Boston Massacre” when less than a dozen British troops fired in self defense, and then only after suffering injuries, from a mob of more than 400 who were wielding clubs, rocks and even a few swords.   It would have been a massacre had the Mob had its way.   I come to think of it as the Boston Insurrection.

The Soldiers accused were acquitted.  (save two, who were found guilty of manslaughter only)

Before the Revolution one could still get Justice at the King's Court, even in Boston!

For better or worse, I believe if the US ever became a monarchy, it would be in the form of what happened to Ancient Rome.  Civil wars (which you see today beginning with the current cultural war going on), followed by martial law or dictatorships, followed by a "Principate" style government...still nominally a republic, but in fact ruled by a Caesar-like figure.  That is the only way I could ever see the US becoming a monarchy.  A King would never fly here.

Perhaps,

Doesn't stop us from working toward the restoration.  (And yes, I doubt it'll come to pass in my life time)

Indeed America would be better off as a monarchy and as such i will continue to fight for one (futile or not).  As to a post earlier, one of the problems the US suffers from is division.  There is nothing to rally behind in this country, everybody disagrees on everything and has to choose a party.  States compete against states, everyone is a republican or democrat, right or left, it just gives me a head ache.  I watch the world cup soccer games and see how even countries that don't have monarchies rally behind their national team singing their national anthem.  No body can stand together on anything in the US, and i know that there are always going to be critics but in america it's ridiculous.  I look at the UK sometimes and just envy the heck out of them because not all of them may like their prime minister, but everybody loves the queen (i now there are british antimonarchists but the majority of the population likes the monarchy) and they can all put their differences aside for at least a little bit and sing 'God Save the Queen' or bow in respect towards her.  I do not advocate a return of British rule but i do so believe that we need a monarchy.

I couldn't agree more.  What has happened to the United States over the past 10 or so years proves to me that our form of government no longer works and that too much freedom, without the responsibility and educated citizenry that should accompany it, is indeed a very bad thing.  A monarchy of some sort would help to create that unity.  Our society lacks order, discipline, and virtue.  People in the US today now disagree on everything just for the sake of disagreeing, and it will be our downfall.
Somewhere along the way, I had found the following quote (I apologize that I cannot remember where it came from), but it speaks volumes as to what I now believe about the United States.  Unlike many on these forums, perhaps I am more of a believer in an benevelont dictatorship, rather than absolute, traditional Catholic monarchy (especially here in the US), but like I said, I believe the following quote to be very accurate:

"My private opinion is that a 'right-wing' dictatorship is about the only way of saving the United States.
Given the intrinsic peril of democracy (see Madison's famous comment), the great evil of Marxist dictatorship, and the lack of any legitimate aristocracy here, an authoritarian state with a real Roman Catholic head is the only other alternative I've been able to think of."

I'm mostly in the latter category, though I would like to see Hawaii secede and restore the monarchy.

I have always had the awesome of idea of California seceding and becoming a monarchy ruled by an undetermined monarch.

You probably want to be that monarch. I think it is possible for the US to break up into smaller states. Some (like Hawaii) would be monarchies and others not. Also, some might be annexed by monarchies (Canada).

I believe the day could come when a large part of what is now the United States along with most of Canada will form one North American Dominion with the British monarch as head of state. The key to the whole thing is for the British/Canadian monarchy to survive (yes, I know they are legally separate thrones.)

I believe there will be a lot of upheaval before this happens and the United States in which I was born will be torn apart first. I don't believe it is forordained but I do think it is possible. It probably won't live to see it unless the Lord let's me live a very long life.

Legally separate titles.

If you mean the physical throne that the queen sits on, she has a lot more than sixteen.
