This news has just been announced. His Royal Highness is showing only mild symptoms and seems in general good health, which we all hope very much will continue, with no more serious illness developing.

I wish Prince Charles a speedy and complete recovery.

Having been cleared by doctors, the Prince is no longer self-isolating. The Duchess of Cornwall however will continue in isolation for another seven days, as is mandatory for anyone who has been in contact with a person who tested positive.

That's really good to hear. I'd really like to see the Prince on the throne some day.

The Prince of Wales opens the NHS Nightingale hospital in eastern London, a massive convention centre that has been converted with astonishing speed into an (ultimately) 4,000 bed facility for treating Covid-19 cases. The Secretary of State he refers to is the Secretary of State for Scotland, who is one of the cabinet ministers who have contracted the virus and been self-isolating. It is of course Scotland His Royal Highness is speaking from, travel from Aberdeenshire to London being out of the question at present. He sounds to me as if he has a slight cold, no doubt a lingering effect of the infection, but seems otherwise to look very well, which is good to see.
