Yes, a common or plains troll, a species which despite all attempts at eradication still infests parts of northern Europe. The green, warty skin, generally hideous physiognomy and long tusks I described elsewhere are typical of the breed. Of limited imagination and intellect, they are capable of mastering only a small vocabulary which they then use repetitively. They also find it difficult to form new concepts, so once they are possessed of a handful of these they repeat them incessantly rather than try to discover anything new to say.

They never allow themselves to fall silent, as their great fear is that someone somewhere might be enjoying some peace and quiet or, worse, friendly conversation. Both concepts being anathema to them, they rush to any place either might be happening and drown out peace and conversation alike with their shrill yammering. This behaviour makes them about as popular as bedbugs, but like those pests they are very hard to get rid of. Persistence combined with frequent applications of trollbegone is the only way.
