The usual English term for such churches is Oriental Orthodox and we say Coptic Orthodox, though you are right to note there are substantial theological differences, at least in language, between, say, the Serbian and the Coptic Orthodox. I haven't/hadn't made a determination about whether I would join the Eastern Orthodox or Oriental or even the Church of the East, though I lean towards the Eastern Orthodox as the best expression of Christology. I also affirm iconodulism (for Christians), so I wouldn't join the Church of the East if they are iconoclast on principle.

Anyway, my point was not necessarily that I belong under the Orthodox designation as that I probably don't belong under the Anglican one.

Irinej, the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, supports restoration of the Serbian monarchy.

The forum currently has no East Asian active members, but AugieDoggie and Punctus Contra Punctum, who are Catholic Vietnamese, were once active members of the forum. Punctus Contra Punctum disliked Dalai Lama, and AugieDoggie hated the Ottoman Empire.

This needs changing. Azadi is under the wrong heading.

I will never change it, because I don't want to be under the same heading as members of this forum, who lack recent noble ancestry.

Hopefully Royalcello will do it for you. You have singularly failed to give a proper response to the requests to show how you are a nobleman. You should admit you exaggerated and change it to your proper status.

Says the staunch egalitarian. Me, I don't care about the troll's bogus claim to be a nobleman. He can believe himself to be whatever he likes, and since he is impervious to fact and reason alike will never be persuaded that what he believes is not true. The only thing that bothers me is he insists all the rest of us believe it too, which isn't going to happen, and that he will not let the matter rest even though his cause is hopeless. Just another aspect of trollery, I suppose.

I certainly don't see who he thinks he's kidding.

Edit: Azadi, that would do. I actually accept you are descended from a noble family, just noble yourself.

I still consider myself a nobleman, but I have decided to claim to be a descendant of a noble family rather than a nobleman on this list, because I don't want this list to be controversial.

The list isn't controversial by itself, Azadi; you are.

Can I be Shah of Kurdistan now that Azadi and I are listed under the same status?
