I having been doing more videos on YouTube lately, starting a series called "Booze Talks" where with a glass of some booze I discuss some subject. Today I made one, my longest, on Louis XVI. I hope those who have time to watch about a thirty minute video will take the time. I tagged the king of our forum on Facebook already but despite not being here for a long time, I thought I would drop in to at least vent my vanity or give glory to Louis today.

My most dear lord, king and husband,

The hour of my death now drawing on, the tender love I owe you forceth me, my case being such, to commend myself to you, and to put you in remembrance with a few words of the health and safeguard of your soul which you ought to prefer before all worldly matters, and before the care and pampering of your body, for the which you have cast me into many calamities and yourself into many troubles. For my part, I pardon you everything, and I wish to devoutly pray God that He will pardon you also. For the rest, I commend unto you our daughter Mary, beseeching you to be a good father unto her, as I have heretofore desired. I entreat you also, on behalf of my maids, to give them marriage portions, which is not much, they being but three. For all my other servants I solicit the wages due them, and a year more, lest they be unprovided for. Lastly, I make this vow, that mine eyes desire you above all things.

Hi wainscottbl,

The audio of your videos are not loud or clear enough.   This is just some friendly feedback.  I do like the drinking though.

Try listening a little longer. The one I posted I had to get up and could not yell across the room. But for most of the video it is pretty clear I think. How long did you listen? Just trying to see if you only listened to the early part, where I got up to close the curtain and since my mom was asleep could not talk across the room like I wanted to.

Thanks. Yes, the earlier part was low, even sitting down, but I was trying to raise my voice without raising it too much. I think I find my tone a little later though. It is hard making videos when people are sleeping and are light sleepers like my mother.
