In order of ease and realism:
a) defend existing monarchies
b) work towards restorations in countries where it is realistic (e.g. Balkans, Georgia, possibly Portugal)
c) work towards laying the groundwork in countries where it is less so (e.g. Germany, Austria)
I don't know where I would add, raising awareness of the Baluchistan and Shan monarchies, given their territories are under occupation of Pakistan and Burma.

Furthermore monarchist lobbying and advocacy is perfectly feasible wherever we live. This is what think tanks and lobby groups do. Even in the US, surely it would not be much to drum up support of overseas monarchies (preservation and restoration) through such groups? Education and informing the public (not to mention politicians) as always is key.

I agree with you on that DavidV.  Monarchist must follow this road of success, in order to restore or maintain monarchies around the world.

I agree, tho I break it down further:
a) Defend the Canadian Monarchy
b) Defend the Monarchy in the other 15 Commonwealth Realms
c) Work towards the Restoration of the Crown in the other Countries of the Commonwealth
d) Defend other existing monarchies
e) Work towards restorations in countries where it is realistic (e.g. Balkans, Georgia, possibly Portugal)
f) Work towards laying the groundwork in countries where it is less so (e.g. Germany, Austria)

For countries like Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria and Georgia, the reasons are simple. Namely a sense of justice, to undo what has been done to those nations over many decades. It forms part of constituting a rejection of the dreadful legacy.

Where places like Kalat and other states of Baluchistan are concerned, they are sovereign entities under illegal Pakistani rule. The Khan of Kalat currently resides in exile in the UK.

Pragmatism works. Being dogmatic and polemic won't get you far.

My Prioritah:

-Defend existing monarchies
-Fight republicanism and democracy (crowned democracy is fine) and combat ignorance about monarchy, while learning more on my own part
-Defend the British Commonwealth
-Defend the Norwegian Monarchy
-Lay the groundwork for the restoration of my beloved Hohenzollerns and the restoration of the Kaiser in Germany AND the many kings of German states (the Wittelsbachs, the Wettins, etc.)
-Restore Rhodesia and crush ZANU-PF and Robert Mugabe (not monarchy related but always on my list)
-Always remain an Unreconstructed Southerner at heart
-Restore the Russian, Austrian and French monarchies
-Bring American back into the British fold and end this silly experiment.  We can have our presidents but with the way we've been the last 50 years, we definitely need a Governor-General and a Queen.

Parties with starkly different ideologies, fighting to the death over anything and everything, constantly assuming power and undoing the policies the previous administration had and introducing their own...this is very unhealthy for a nation and undermines the nation in the long run, setting it up for countless civil wars and instability. A monarchy is a living link to the distant past, and a rallying point for those who desire to preserve the old while looking to the new without the constant power changes"-Myself :)

DavidV, what chance do you think there is of a restoration in Albania soon, what with all the exposure the royal family is getting.lately, and the hopefully imminent and now essential royal marriage of Leka II?
