That's strange, I seem to recall Peter also having posted in this rather tasteless thread.

Azadi, there is a place for alternate "history" and that's not it.

Thank you for the understanding!

I apologize. I certainly don't wish Queen Elizabeth dead. She has been an excellent queen of England, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

I corrected the Crown Prince of Norway's name. Azadi followed my correction so I deleted my post, which had served its purpose. Subsequently Azadi has deleted the post I corrected. I wasn't mortally offended by the thread, sooner or later (hopefully later) we are going to have to deal with the Queen's passing, but I agree that it's not in ideal taste.

Good. I would have much preferred it, if Azadi had written something about the succession to Queen Elizabeth I of England, as there were many candidates being proposed to be her successors. Now that would be "alternate history"!

Funnily enough, in her time it was forbidden by law to discuss the monarch's death. How times have changed... 😉

I have written a new future timeline, which is called "Putin restores the monarchy". I'm actually not interested in British alternate history. Saving or restoring the Russian monarchy and saving the Ottoman Empire are my preferred topics of alternate history.
