Does anybody else here like Japanese pop music? I'll post some links here after I sleep and go to school in the morning, kay?.

Yes I don't mind some of it, though I do prefer the "Visual-Kei" style of music myself.

Above is the Billboard Japan Hot 100 Year-End chart for 2012.



And here is the Billboard Japan Hot 100 Year-End chart for 2013!

I should point out that the Oricon chart is considered the official Japanese chart, since its beginning in the late 1960s. Billboard started a Japanese chart only in 2008.

The difference between the charts is that Oricon covers only physical singles sales, while Billboard covers both that and radio airplay as well. 

I showed videos of the Billboard Japan charts simply because they were at least transliterated, so I can actually read them. There are Oricon videos, but they're mostly in Japanese.
