http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/31/world/asia/north-korea-pregnancy-rumors/?iref=obinsite

The rumors are swirling around South Korea that First Lady of North Korea Ri Sol-ju may be pregnant, and they started with officials after Ri wore a long coat to a dinner. She also hadn't been seen in public for two months, though that may have been b/c she forgot to wear lapel pins of North Korea's leaders.

Personally, I hope a 1970s baby is born. You know, one of those movie monster babies? Then North Korea shall be freed from the Kim clan.

I'm confused. Exactly what kind of an idiot are you?

What are you talking about? I know you were around in the 1970s, Jovan, don't you remember the monster baby/child genre popular back then?

Of course I do. Of course, I'm also sane enough to realise it was all an hoax!

An entire movie genre was a hoax? I'm confused now.

I'm confused.....why is it tolerated for you, Jovan, to be hostile towards Kymonarchist constantly. It seriously gets old seeing insults getting thrown out by you.

Unfortunately there is a lot of history between Jovan and KYM. The only way to stop the snapping seems to be to do without one or the other, which I certainly don't want to and I don't think many of us do. It is for royalcello to decide, but me I just mentally shrug when it happens and move on.

No need to be sorry. I don't like it either, but 'what cannot be cured must be endured'.

This is a big year for Kim Jong Un.  Earlier this year, the satirical paper, The Onion, named the third generation North Korean dictator "The Sexiest Man Alive" in a parody of People Magazine's annual honor bestowed on the celebrety world's current male reigning heartthrob.  A Chinese paper, not realizing that The Onion is a satirical paper, decided to reprint the story as a serious article and congradulated North Korea's "Young Leader" much to the amusement of the rest of the world.

Now however, Time magazine has released the result of a vote it heald for it's on line readers asking who they would choose as "Man of the Year".  Kim Jong Un won hands down as the choice of millions of readers.  Now it's the editors who actually choose the "Man of the Year", but if the E.U. can win the Nobel Peace Prize, perhaps the time has come for Kim Jong Un to be proclaimed, supreme hereditary yet Communist Leader of North Korea,  Sexiest Man Alive and Man of the Year.  So it's ok KYM....no 1970s monster baby needed to make this a great year for him.

Chinese state media really do need to learn what satire is, especially since The Onion has now fooled them twice in the span of a decade.

And as for Kim Jong-un as Time Person of the Year, has he had "the most influence on the events of the year, for better or for worse"? I'll freely admit I don't know, but perhaps he does deserve to join the ranks of Gandhi, Khomeini, the Queen, Churchill, Hitler, Stalin, FDR, Charles Lindbergh, Haile Selassie, and many others besides. After all, despite everyone thinking this is an honor, it's actually just an editorial statement and also something Time cooked up for a slow news week and originally to honor Lindbergh. No joke, and yes, all the aforementioned names have received this designation by Time.

Jong-un might deserve this, considering that he's just seen his nation launch something into orbit! But I would think that Obama, Nate Silver, and Bashar al-Assad, also all had lots of influence on the events of the year.

For the record, I haven't seen anybody add anything on the Wikipedia about this, so I'm not certain if this is final.
