Good evening. Whilst I have followed this site for some time and found it most interesting, I have only now been tempted to join due to a post on another forum.

To get the controversies out of the way, firstly, if I was French, I would support the Orleanists first, the Bonapartes second and the young Spanish gentleman a distant third. Whilst supporting full civil rights for the LGBT community, I believe in the definition of marriage as per the Book of Common Prayer. I do not believe Vladimir Putin to be the monster that our western politicians would like to portray him as, and that it is largely due to their interference that the Ukrainian mess has arisen. I will probably not comment on these matters again.

Less controversially, after HM Elizabeth II and her late father, my favourite monarch of the twentieth century is HIRH Charles I & IV.

Welcome Wilson! Glad you're here. (I do disagree on the Russian succession but oh well, we can't agree on everything.)

A warm welcome from one Queenslander to another, good to see some young up-and-commers here, it gladdens my heart so. On one side of my family I go back over two hundred years in this country (Australia), on the other it is the highlands of Scotland back as far as anyone can remember, they only travelling to live in the borders after '45 and arriving here (Australia) just on fifty eight years ago.

Thank you Theodore! Don't get me wrong, if there's a Romanov restoration it will almost certainly be from the Grand Duchess, but I just don't see how her succession fits in under House Law. Oh well. These little disputes are what makes monarchists so unique.

Thank you as well Queenslander; apparently our state punches above it's weight here.
