No need for you to go, it's just that anti-monarchical sentiments are not welcome here. We can find those arguments anyplace, this is somewhere we don't have to have them. I should add that though I appear as moderator the only actual moderator is the site owner royalcello. My title is just nominal except in one section of the site. Who stays and who goes is his decision, but for what it is worth I have no objection to you staying, and participating if you wish.

Hello everyone. I've been looking for a good forum for a while and have been lurking here for a bit and decided to join. Looking at the demographic survey post I seem to be the second Jewish person to join. Yay!
I pretty much love anything to do with History and Geography (Maps) and seem to have an abnormal pride in my only somewhat heard of ancestor Theodorus Frederick van Capellen, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodorus_Frederik_van_Capellen, for anyone with any interest [smile]

Anyway, I hope I stay here for a long time and eventually contribute more. Also, I have many uncommon books on armies and wars during the 17th-19th centuries if anyone wants some information.

Welcome, JoshWS! I feel I should point out that the demographic survey hasn't been updated since January 20th, 2013, so it is quite possible that there are more Jewish members on this forum besides you and the other Jewish member.

I am indeed. Long live the Kaiser. I greatly appreciate your greetings my friend! I feel that I am going to love these forums. I also see that you currently reside in the USA, share German and Isle blood, and are a neopagan! We share quite a lot my friend. What paganism do you consider yourself as. Germanic? Celtic?

Hello, my name's Isaac. I'm a 16 year old monarchist currently living in England. Althouh I have undying respect and admiration for Her Majesty the Queen, I tend to be much more interested in European monarchies. I'm very interested in art and heraldry and do (amateur) Royal portraits from time to time. Nice to meet you all!

Hello, another new member here.

I'm an English, although I currently reside in Australia. I'm a traditional conservative, something of a distributist and follower of E.F Schumacher in economics, and a Christian Platonist (first and foremost a Platonist). I have a great interest in political theory and, although I wouldn't say I thought monarchy necessary for a good state, I would describe myself as a monarchist.

I'm very interested in theoretical defences of monarchy (and writings on politics, culture, and society in general).

Hello,

I have been lurking around these forums for quite a while now, though I've decided to join in. I am an ethnic Vietnamese born in the DFW area, though I'm interested in all kinds of monarchies--I converted from republicanism at the end of 2011. I am also interested in such related topics as religion.
I have reason to believe that my conversion to monarchism strengthened my religious beliefs. I guess you could say I was a typical American Catholic before then, but now I have a greater appreciation for traditional Christianity.

In all honesty, I feel more loyalty towards the Habsburgs than I do towards America. (It was my discovery of Austria-Hungary, and the fact that the last Emperor has been beatified, that really  pushed me towards monarchism.) Of course, I would also like to see the monarchy in my homeland Vietnam restored--preferably as a Catholic monarchy. (If I recall, the current heir and his sons have been raised as Catholics.)

As you can tell from my name, I am a fan of old cartoons, though I also have a great appreciation for the animated art form in general.

Long live the Holy Roman Emperor! Long live the Habsburgs! (Though I still think the Hohenzollerns as German Emperors would be better than the worthless German federal republic. And Austria and Hungary will always be Habsburg territories in any event.)
