Welcome to Ahmizzo, the second Muslim ever to join this forum, if I remember right. Also the second Muslim-American. Does anybody else think it a little odd that tens of millions of people live in Muslim monarchies and yet not one has joined our forum? Seriously, with those odds, surely one could have joined by now?

I've met more than a few Muslim Monarchists on the internet. It's odd we don't have more of them here, I think, and sort of a shame.

Ah, if only I had chosen a more relevant Username... (Laetitio, perhaps?) I'll get back to you guys on that. Hello! I'm a 20 year old lurker with an avid interest in history and the (visual) arts. Quite a few of my graphic works have been created to promote the monarchist message online (they'll probably all end up as my avatar at some point!) So far these forums have appeared very interesting, and I thought I should at least participate if I keep coming back here!

hi all, my name is peggy von radics, (i go by sunny not peggy) i live in the northwestern part of the country, my grandfather was a baron in austria, left during ww2 through alaska then married my grandmother in springfield, MA. not a match made in heaven. he was anti-semitic and she was jewish. she used to call him baron pockets. (barren pockets) and when he asked her to darn his socks, which were custom made, very expensive, while she struggled to raise two sons (one being my dad) she sewed all of the toes shut. ahhh, to be young and in love. my grandmother was very beautiful, but she was a pretty mean lady and he was kind of a dandy, they divorced, which was unheard of in those days. my dad has nothing nice to say about him, i never got to meet max, but my grandmother who i did visit when i was young was nothing nice either. granted, she had a horrible beginning, her father killed her mother and then was hanged for it, making her and her brother orphans to be raised by her moms sister i think. she was broken and only had room enough in her heart to love my dad and my uncle. i also think that because she was so beautiful when she was young, as she got older and lost her looks, she became bitter and couldn't stand to be around anyone who still had youth. water under the bridge. so, too much info? if so, uhhh too late. i'm interested in finding out about my ancestry on both sides actually. her (my grandmother's) maiden name was dora saxon. i don't know too much about her except what i just wrote. historically, there is a lot of murder, treachery, betrayal, back-stabbing and every other sordid misdeed that can be imagined; fighting over money, power, willing to kill children, brothers, sisters, mothers, anyone for a piece of the throne. not necessarily what one could call good leadership by example. and yet, somehow they are raised above everyone else. makes no sense to me.

I welcome Thasiloron, and hope he will participate regularly. Attacking and deriding the very institution the forum is set up to celebrate is an odd way to go about introducing oneself, and I am not so sure about the welcome to svr. She might like to read post #1 of the rules thread , which explains the purpose of the forum, and if she then feels that this is not quite the place for her then fair enough.

Yes, of course, you are right peter. My deepest apology. My reason for joining this forum was not to insult anybody but to hopefully find information as it pertains to my lineage. If you would like me to go, I understand.
