I'm an American, predominantly of Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry. I'm not very close to my family, similar to most modern youth (sadly), so I don't have a very strong cultural identity.

I'm an atheist/skeptic of the supernatural, but human biology does not preclude spirutality, so I can confidently say I have religious intuitions.

I self identify as right wing, conservative, libertarian or anarcho-capitalist, depending on the situation. Currently my knowledge makes me lean towards anarcho-monarchism or at the most an extremely limited monarchical state, since I feel economies of scale require a near monopoly on national defense and cultural leadership.

That's probably the important stuff.

"And let it be noted that there is no more delicate matter to take in hand, nor more dangerous to conduct, nor more doubtful in its success, than to set up as a leader in the introduction of changes. For he who innovates will have for his enemies all those who are well off under the existing order of things, and only lukewarm supporters in those who might be better off under the new. This lukewarm temper arises partly from the fear of adversaries who have the laws on their side, and partly from the incredulity of mankind, who will never admit the merit of anything new, until they have seen it proved by the event."

Welcome. Congratulations on helping us reach an all-time high in forum membership.
"Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana
