I recently found an article that saying that the King of Easter Island (Rapa Nui)  is going to sue Chile for independence. I don't recall their being a pretender to the Easter Island throne but the article says he is the grandson of the last king and he had his coronation this year. Does anyone know if he is legitimate or are we going to see a Tahiti type pretenders claiming the Easter Island throne? Though it would be nice to see Easter Island independent as a monarchy.

Here is a gallery of pictures of King Valentino Riroroko Tuki. Even though I couldn't find pictures of his coronation in some of these pictures he is wearing the traditional bird feather crown. I think we should start to look at the monarchist movement in Easter Island more becuase it is growing.
