If one could have any job in the world, what would it be?

I would quite like to be the Lord Lyon, Scotland's King of Arms.

If nothing else, one gets a really cool uniform and crown:

Blacksmith specializing in barrels for black powder rifles, preferably in the mountains of Montana or Idaho.

Might have done that all over instead of going to college for computer science. An experienced blacksmith can make a decent living, but I haven't put the hours in, and I can't switch careers now, as I'm the sole breadwinner for my family.

The Lord Lyon certainly has one of the coolest job titles in the world.

Personally, if I could be anything, I'd like to go back in time and be a member of the 18th or 19th century British landed gentry. Or alternatively, an Anglican clergyman of the same period. I'd take advantage of the relative financial security and light official duties involved to pursue my own artistic, scientific and philanthropic ventures to my heart's delight. If I am stuck in the 21st century, though, I would ideally like to be a successful novelist.

Are you doing anything in real life to build up support for your kingship amongst the Kurds?

Is there a substantial Kurdish diaspora in Germany that you can convince politically to support you as a figurehead of the Kurdish people?

There is a substantial Kurdish diaspora in Germany. You may have heard about the tragic events in Hanau a few days ago, when a racist extremist went on an armed rampage and killed several members of the diaspora. Apart from being horrified generally I actually felt a flicker of concern for the only member of that diaspora I know, little respect though I have for him, then I remembered Hanau is in Hesse and a fair way from Schleswig. Azadi should by all means be out there labouring away recruiting other Kurds to his cause. After all, the more time he spends doing that the less he will spend here.

Being, I would think, a good deal older than most here, effectively retired and, while certainly not wealthy able to live comfortably, I don't really have any dreams of this sort. I'm content as I am.

Thank you for feeling concern for me. Wanting to limit non-Western immigration to Germany isn't wrong, but attacking non-Western refugees and immigrants, who live in Germany, is repugnant, and bigotry against German citizens, who are of non-Western origin, is morally wrong. I'm fortunately less likely to be a victim of neo-Nazi attacks than other Kurds, who live in Germany, because I'm a Christian and I'm bearing a German surname. But I won't rule out becoming a victim of a neo-Nazi attack, because I'm darker than ethnic Germans. Neo-Nazis attacking Kurds is moronic, because the Kurds are actually Aryans according to Nazi racial theories.

I certainly don't wish you any harm, and never have. The momentary concern was genuine. The problem isn't with people inconsistently and illogically applying their racial theories. The problem is with people having racial theories to begin with.

I agree that racism is morally wrong.
