As those of you who are my Facebook Friends will know, but others may not, I just returned today from a Baroque musical tour of Brazil (São Paulo & Belém), which is why I've been inactive (both here and at my blog) lately. While as in Amsterdam my hopes of meeting royalty were unfilled (Francisco Theodoro de Orléans-Bragança, great-great-great-grandson of Emperor Pedro II, was a registered participant at the recorder festival but at the last minute was unable to attend), otherwise it was a wonderful trip and everything went splendidly. Here is a video of me performing the Sonata No. 6 in A Minor by Francesco Geminiani (1687-1762) on Wednesday 29 May at the Church of Our Lady of Consolation in São Paulo which I hope forum members will enjoy:

I love Geminiani's concertos, as I do most baroque period music.   I am glad you had a safe and fortunate trip!
