The Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem Torkom Manoogian was buried in the Holy City today.  His Beatitude was previously primate of the Armenian Orthodox Church in the United States before being enthroned in Jerusalem over the See of St. James.   The Armenians posess a portion of the ancient city of Jerusalem as they have been present in the Holy Land for centuries, but their numbers are dwindling.  They also posess a significant portion of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
