I don't care what Lisa Nandy may or may not have said about Putin, but the fact that she has openly advocated abolishing the monarchy renders her as toxic and untouchable as Corbyn as far as I'm concerned.

Says a person who like Donald Trump and Putin, who are not exactly known for scrupulous proclamation of the truth.

She said something you don't like about a murderous KGB thug you like. That's all this is - no actual principal.

Our resident troll has in the past said that he supported Nandy rather than Long Bailey whom he previously supported, on the grounds that he had discovered she has darker skin than Long Bailey. Now he no longer supports Nandy, dark skin or no dark skin, because he discovered she had traduced the glorious angelic being who is 1) trampling over the rights of Russians and turning that country into a world pariah; 2) invading neighbouring countries due to the territorial greed of the man who already rules the largest country in the world; 3) sending gangsters abroad to murder exiled opponents; 4) using illicit means to influence the elections of countries near and far to help candidates favourable (i.e. servile) to him; and 5) doing lots of other bad stuff too, you'd need to write a book and then you still wouldn't get to half of it.

How she traduced this veritable Messiah was by saying he oppresses a minority he doesn't especially. Completely unforgivable, beside that wanting to overthrow a monarchy isn't even a bagatelle to ORT, who has consistently lavished fulsome praise on Qasim and Gadaffi, two men who actually did overthrow monarchies. But now, what is a poor troll to do? Long-Bailey (hey, she isn't consistent about how she spells her name so why should I be) still has that pallid complexion ruling her out of court. Has to be Starmer. I just hope he never says anything mean about the saintly being occupying the Kremlin, troll's brain might explode. Though actually ...

I didn't know that Lisa Nandy is a republican. When did she advocate abolition of the British monarchy? A republican becoming the leader of the British Labour Party will be a disaster. Are Keir Starmer and Rebecca Long-Bailey republicans?

Long-Bailey is almost certainly a republican as she is in essence a copy of Jeremy Corbyn but I do not know about Starmer.

Rebecca Long-Bailey actually stated that she would not vote to abolish the monarchy, whilst Keir Starmer said that he would merely seek to "downsize" it (whatever that means).

I will endorse Keir Starmer in the Labour leadership election, because Lisa Nandy has slandered Vladimir Putin and because Rebecca Long-Bailey is ugly. Keir Starmer is neither a Blairite nor a Marxist. Keir Starmer is opposed to Britain rejoining the EU, despite being a Remainer. Keir Starmer will be an excellent Prime Minister of Britain. [/QUOT
shouldnt it be quite irrelevant whether a politician is ugly or not? after all its not a beauty contest.
