You'll find that a lot of the royal and imperial families of europe today are inter-related one way or another. I think that they may need some new genes.

Don't worry, they're getting them.  All the royals are marrying commoners these days.  Eventually the different royal families are going to become less and less closely related until they hardly constitute a single extended family any more.  Personally I'm sorry to see that go, and the alleged "inbreeding" in the old days was not generally as bad as people think.

Phil,

FYI - Albania's King would be Leka I, and the capital would be Tirana.  Would you include Kosovo and Montenegro and parts of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in this restored Albanian Kingdom given the large number of Albanians living in these states?

I agree. Every inch of Ottoman territory in Turkey was conquered from the Byzantine Emperor.

You are right. And half of that was formerly half of Kurdistan. Kurdistan as a whole was divided between what are now called Turkey, Iran and Iraq.

I am one who supports the restoration of Kurdistan.

Which Constantine are you talking about?

Sorry I meant the current heir to the Hellenic throne. A bit confusing in those old posts. I suppose in reference to my old views, since the Empire was never all that big on a strict hereditary principle, the current Imperial pretender probably should be considered King Constantine "of Greece" as opposed to the Russian imperial heir (though I did discover that Catherine the Great had a plan to conquer Greece and Anatolia and place a relative of hers on the throne in Constantinople).

I think your Maximiliano III is Maximilian von Gotzen-Iturbide, but who are this Raphael I and Denis I?
