The ADL has hit another low by attacking the organisation Canary Mission, an organisation dedicated to exposing anti-Semitic and anti-Israel hate from the Far Left, Far Right and Islamists.

Above all else, this latest episode reveals the deepening divisions among America's Jewish population between progressive secular and non-Orthodox Jews whose numbers are declining, and Orthodox Jews who are politically more conservative and are growing in number. Increasingly, the former group are either losing their Jewishness or effectively collaborating with the very worst sort of people to undermine the Jewish community.

Canary Mission does an admirable job of exposing extremists. Some of the most odious are people like Philip Weiss of Mondoweiss, Max Blumenthal and Electronic Intifada - all beloved of the Left and Islamists, and also popular with the White Nationalist crowd (as they are regularly quoted on Stormfront).

While many Jews view the ADL as an organisation dedicated to protecting them, the left-wing agenda they pursue in fact does great harm to Jews. They have long had an antagonistic relationship with outspoken Jewish figures Pamela Geller and Charles Jacobs among others, and also the Zionist Organisation of America which is ideologically aligned with Likud.

American Jews are likely to experience similar shifts to Jews in other Western countries, including Britain and Australia. Already most British Jews are voting Conservative, reinforced by Labour's flirtation with anti-Semitism and appeasement of Islamists. In Australia, we see similar although Labor MP Michael Danby is one of the prominent voices in support of Israel here.

The conflict between the ADL and other left-wing Jewish groups and the right-wing ZOA is deepening, highlighting once more divisions among Jews in the USA which itself is mirrored in Jewish communities elsewhere:

In addition to the pro-Likud ZOA, the Jewish Right is also represented by such organisations as the RZA (Religious Zionists) and Mizrachi, allied to the Jewish Home party in Israel, and the Haredi/Hasidic/ultra-orthodox bodies Agudath Israel and Chabad.

Melanie Phillips explains the asininity of those saying prayers for murdered Hamas terrorists, and the ADL calling their deaths a "tragedy":

Meanwhile, secular, Reform and Conservative Jewish groups continue their dissolution into Leftist universalism, with costs to their adherents:
