Well, he's older now, and with age comes wisdom. Let's hope that he's a bit more circumspect this time around.

H.I.H. Prince Joel Dawit Makonnen and Miss Ariana Austin were married on Saturday September 9, at the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church of the Savior of the World (Medhane Alem) in Temple Hills Maryland.  The wedding saw many members of the Imperial family gather in the Washington D.C. area to celebrate the wedding. The new Princess was received into the Ethiopian Orthodox Church some months ago.

Last month (August 2017), according to several internet reports, Nicholas De Roumanie/Medforth-Mills announced his engagement to native Rumanian Alina Maria Binder. The announcement was apparently made while they were on vacation in Britain. According to the reports, King Mihai sent his congratulations on the engagement to his grandson, though he reiterated that he no longer considers Nicholas to be in the Rumanian line of succession. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future.

Burkina Faso was horrible, so that's saying a lot.

So horrible I have a hard time calling that country by that name to be perfectly frank with you folks here. I once had a work colleague who escaped from there and his tales were harrowing to say the least.
