Rod Meredith (1930-2017) was the leader of the Living Church of God, one of the successors to Herbert W. Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God. After Armstrong's death in 1986, traditionalists resisted the church's move away from Armstrongism and British-Israelism. This led to the formation of the Philadelphia Church of God (PCG) by Gerald Flurry, the Living Church of God (LCG) by Meredith and the Restored Church of God (RCG) by David Pack; the United Church of God (UCG) and its offshoots like COGWA.
Meredith and his followers produced Tomorrow's World magazine and TV show which is broadcast globally. We'll see how LCG fares under Ames and Weston.
