In Africa today, the ranks of rhinos have been decimated because of superstition. Yes, that's right - superstition in some places and cultures has fueled one of the most evil trades known to humanity. The trade in rhino horn is such that it is reported to be more valuable than illegal narcotics such as cocaine and heroin, and precious metals such as gold.

It also reveals the bankruptcy of liberal moral relativism which treats all cultures, values and belief system as though they are of equal worth and must be accorded equal respect. That means all superstitions too. Superstitions for which no scientific evidence whatsoever can justify are now creating one of the greatest tragedies of our time.
