The surprise is that protests against farm attacks in South Africa have received international attention. What is not surprising is the bias in media coverage - clearly accusing protesters of "white supremacy" and "Apartheid nostalgia".

Disturbingly but unsurprisingly, this is what white South Africans are confronted with at home and abroad - under threat at home and despised by the liberal elites abroad. The indifference to the situation may be because liberal "White Guilt" in Britain and Australia dictates that.

South Africa has had violence against foreigners - mainly migrants from failed states to its north - and appalling violence in general highlighted by the senseless murders of Anene Booysen, Senzo Meyiwa and others. With such lawlessness, corruption and hatred under ANC rule, one hopes enough people can make a difference to change the situation. But will they?
