His Eminence the Metropolitan Archbishop of Pskov has laid the foundation stone of a new Church dedicated to the Holy Royal Martyrs, on the site of the abdication of Emperor Nicholas II on the 100th anniversary of this sad event. The church will stand at the train station at Dno, where Tsar Nicholas II signed his abdication on board the Imperial Train. http://theorthodoxchurch.info/blog/news/foundation-of-royal-martyrs-church-laid-at-site-of-tsars-abdication/ __________________ The Lion of Judah hath prevailed.

All very nice and everything, but I wish the Russians (and the Russian Orthodox Church) would stop just thinking up new things to commemorate about the martyred Romanovs, and work out a mechanism for restoring the living ones.
