This weekend is the first anniversary of the death of the monster Fidel Castro. This year, Robert Mugabe finally falls from power.
To understand all this we must look at the fads that developed in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Decolonisation, the emergence of "white guilt" on the back of the Civil Rights Movement, and the Cuban, Libyan and Iranian revolutions, as well as a growth of terrorism with the FLQ, IRA, PLO, PFLP, ETA, RAF, JRA and LTTE. Being "anti-western", "anti-imperialist" and "Third Worldist" became all the rage.
The more recent manifestations of this have been the "indigenous" industry (something pushed by internationalists to weaken nation-states), and movements like BLM and Rhodes Must Fall.
This is part of a wider cultural nihilism which repudiates Western Civilisation and its values, but especially that of Britain and the wider English-speaking world. So there you have it: the values of Britain and the Commonwealth in its unparalleled civic, political and economic freedom, or the values of our enemies - Communists, Islamists, Republicans and others - who are the exact opposite.
