I expect Henri VII, on the other hand, will refrain from comment. I am a little surprised that Don Luis Alfonso should so draw attention to his family connection with the detested (and
) regime of his great-grandfather, but I suppose it is admirable in a way that he is not afraid to do so. Compared to the Lenin mausoleum and the various statues and monuments to Princip I don't see Franco's grandiose resting place as a special cause of offence, ghastly as the man and his regime were, and I agree with you that it would have been better to just leave things alone and not risk inciting more division in a country already divided enough. detestable
