The royal couple seem to have borne the frustration of her realtives well. This bodes well for how they will deal with other annoyances of public life.

I bet former Dynasty Actress Catherine Oxenberg is the "Royally connected American" they are taling about.  She did a previous reality show.  Her mother is Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia (Serbia).

There was a link in that report to 'crisis meetings at the Palace'. I followed it, and the meetings turned out to be concerned (allegedly) with the burning issue of the day: what do we do about the trailer trash? The report didn't say if the words 'hit squad' came up in the discussions. It's definitely a thought, though.

I think we've seen shows on similar themes, and articles run on various royalty from around the world. Which I think can only be a good thing insofar as educating people that there is royalty other than the British Royal Family, and a few European ones, which most people in the West seem even vaguely aware of.

The Duke and Duchess are currently engaged on a Commonwealth tour, their first as a couple, visiting Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. Shortly after arriving in Australia it turned out that they had an important and interesting announcement to make, delayed so as to not detract attention from Friday's wedding. Warm congratulations and very good wishes to them both at this wonderful news.

There's been a great deal of fuss in the media recently over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's future living arrangements. While it had been expected that they would be moving next year from Nottingham Cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace into an apartment in the palace itself, giving them much more spacious accommodation and incidentally making them next door neighbours of their brother and sister-in-law the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, it has now been announced that they will be moving instead to Frogmore Cottage, on the Windsor Castle estate.

Cue a frenzy of speculation and headlines screaming 'Royal Rift!' and the like. Crediting unnamed 'sources' close to the two couples and apparently exceedingly loose-lipped, the theme has varied from the two Dukes having a terminal falling-out to the two Duchesses doing the same, the later being the favourite but a mixture of both being a frequent option.

I don't know, of course, but I'm always sceptical of such reports. I felt it much more likely that a newly-married couple expecting their first child wanted more personal as well as physical space, not wishing to live on top of other family however close. Which is more or less what this article says, equally dependent on unnamed sources but seeming much more credible and convincing to me than other reports I've read. Personally, I just wish the couple happiness together and the safe delivery of a healthy child next year. And their private family relations I consider to be just that, private, and no business or concern of me or any other member of the public.
